Purchasing a vehicle through our International Escrow Service
Understanding the Escrow Service:
Step 1: The Buyer and the Seller agree on the terms, including the vehicle description, final price, delivery information, the number of days allowed for the Buyer’s inspection of the vehicle, and any other relevant details. Once the terms are agreed upon, the transaction is initiated through our International Escrow Service to ensure a secure and smooth process.
Step 2: The Buyer completes the payment via bank transfer to the Payment Agent assigned to the transaction through our International Escrow Service. Please note that payment confirmation may take up to 1-2 banking days, which is standard for international payments (may take longer for payments received from countries outside the European Union or its trading area).
Step 3: Once the payment has been successfully received through our International Escrow Service, our Logistics Department will deliver the vehicle to the Buyer. Delivery time depends on the Buyer’s location. The Buyer will sign the Inspection Period documents, and the vehicle will then be left in their possession.
Step 4.1 (Buyer ACCEPTS the vehicle): The Buyer reviews and accepts the vehicle, confirming their satisfaction to CARLAU Auto. The Payment Agent assigned to the transaction through the International Escrow Service will then be instructed to transfer the purchase amount to the Seller's bank account, finalizing the transaction.
Step 4.2 (Buyer REJECTS the vehicle): If the Buyer is not satisfied with the vehicle, they will inform CARLAU Auto. The Payment Agent assigned to the transaction through the International Escrow Service will then be instructed to refund the purchase amount to the Buyer’s bank account, which may take 1-2 banking days. The Logistics Department of CARLAU Auto will arrange to pick up the vehicle and return it to the Seller at the Seller’s expense.
